The North Sea Link (NSL) Energy Education Centre is a free facility, opened to further enhance pupils’ understanding of energy, sustainability and interconnectors, whilst encouraging an interest in STEM subjects and careers.

The Education Centre reopened on Friday 7th October 2022, and you can explore the world of energy with NSL through our online resources. You will learn more about the environment and renewable energy in a fun and interesting way.

Designed for KS2 and KS3 children, the free downloadable resources include the following topics:

  • Energy resources, non-renewables and renewables.
  • The need to change our relationship with energy, in order to safeguard our future.
  • The growing need for renewable, clean and sustainable energy resources.
  • The impacts of climate change.
  • Climate change and our responsibilities.
